Eleonora Russo specialises in European Union Law and particularly in climate change law (international negotiation, division of competences and implementation of EU law in the Member States).

She graduated in Law in October 2005 at the University of Bologna, Italy. During the academic year 2002/2003 she studied at the University of Bristol, UK. She obtained a Master Degree in Company Law in 2006 at the University Roma Tre, Italy. Between 2009 and 2011, she participated to different courses organised by the United Nations Environmental Program (together with the University of Eastern Finland) and by the European University Institute, Fiesole, Italy.

She lives in Paris, where she is finishing a PhD in EU law at the University Panthéon-Assas, Paris II. She organised two Summer Schools on European Energy Law for the students of this University as well as for the students of King’s College, London and Humboldt University, Berlin.

Since three years, she teaches EU law at the University Sciences-po, Paris. She published articles on EU law and a legal guide for the Chinese community working in Italy. She presents regularly her works during different conferences on environment and energy.
