BDC Legal is pleased to announce the Italian Arbitration Day (IAD) 2026, which will take place in Rome on 11 June 2026 at the Sala della Protomoteca on the Capitoline Hill.

This year’s edition will focus on “Arbitration in the Age of Economic and Legal Disruption”, with particular attention to tariffs, sanctions and global uncertainties affecting international arbitration.

The Italian Arbitration Day is a key event for the international arbitration community and an important opportunity for dialogue among practitioners, businesses and institutions.
The Steering Committee also includes ARBIT – Italian Forum for Arbitration and ADR, co‑founded and currently served as treasurer by our partner Maria Theresia Roerig.

As part of the IAD side events, ARBIT will host a pre‑IAD event on 10 June 2026 titled “Diversity as a tool for efficiency, decision making stability and the evolution of law in international arbitration”, held at Circolo Canottieri Lazio, Rome (4:30–6:30 pm).
